Take the Free Online PsychArmor Course on S.A.V.E.

PsychArmor has released a free online course on S.A.V.E., a suicide prevention course. Hosted by Dr. Megan McCarthy, Deputy Director, Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, US Department of Veterans Affairs, the short video (24 minutes 11 seconds) provides statistics related to military and Veteran suicide and the S.A.V.E. model.   S.A.V.E. stands for Signs (recognize them), Ask the question (are you feeling suicidal?), Validate the individual’s feelings, and Encourage him/her to seek help.

Registration is required in order to take the course.
