UNC-TV Launches the Situation Report Show
Sponsored by the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Sit-Rep is a weekly show that features issues and events about and for military members, Veterans, and their families. Each 30-minute show will feature interviews and footage addressing past and current events, education, employment, and services, supports, and resources provided by federal, state, and Veteran-serving agencies and organizations. Each segment will have a Mental Health Minute, which will look at issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and suicide.
Sit-Rep will air every Saturday at 3p on the North Carolina Channel. The first season is a 13 week run. A second season is being planned. The shows and resources can be found at www.ncchannel.org/situation-report.
