The Durham Veterans Administration Health Care System is holding a Mental Health Summit in the Bull City this September. Over the course of 2 days, a wide array of expert voices will explore relevant topics related to the mental health needs of Veterans and their families and engage in dialogue and shared strategies to provide availability and quality care for North Carolina’s military families. Organizers hope to advance collaboration and partnerships between VA, Community Mental Health Providers and local and state organizations. Participants can expect to hear from guest speakers from VA and Community Programs on topics such as Military Culture, Whole Health and the Transitioning Veteran and engage in breakout sessions to discuss unmet needs in the community. The event is RSVP only and seating is limited. You can RSVP by clicking on this link and completing the registration.
