Licensed mental health providers treating Veterans in the community may apply for this comprehensive training in the assessment of PTSD and suicide risk. The training will be offered online via a live video conference and include didactic presentations and roleplay demonstrations with opportunities for participants to ask questions. Assessment tools will be provided. Topics include:
- Military culture
- How to assess and diagnose PTSD
- Essential treatment recommendations
- How to identify and assess suicide risk
- Lethal means safety
- Safety planning
Two options are available in 2022. May 16-17 or July 26-27. All sessions are 10am-6:30pm ET.
