Educational Opportunity

UNC Wilmington is hosting a large event on  campus in Trask Coliseum on Monday, March 23 at 6:30 pm.  The event is a conversation (not a lecture) on what we are doing and need to do to prevent veteran suicides.  The Secretary of the VA, Honorable Robert Wilkie scheduled to open the event and then it will be turned over to the panel for a conversation (think fireside chat).  That panel will consist of Medal of Honor Recipients Maj. Gen. James Livingston (USMC); MSG Leroy Petry (USA) and the Student Veterans of America President and CEO Jared Lyon

The event will be live streamed across the country for those who cannot attend in person.  However, We encourage as many military-affiliated and concerned citizens to attend in person as possible!  The event is FREE.   Please share with other contacts you may have throughout your region.
