The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) operates the Safe Helpline, a hotline for members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. Stakeholders and clinicians can access a variety of services including an app, searchable database of sexual assault service providers, online chat service and printed materials.

The policies and programs created by SAPRO are intended to strengthen resiliency of sexual assault survivors and instill confidence and trust in the reporting process.
