November is American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month

American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) service members have served in all our nation’s wars, beginning with the Revolutionary War, with 29 service members of AIAN heritage awarded the Medal of Honor, the highest medal for valor. The Department of Veterans Affairs Caregiver Support Program (CSP) values the many U.S. Veterans and caregivers of AIAN descent and invites folks to learn more about what VA’s Office of Tribal Government Relations has to offer and how to access the full range of services and benefits.
