According to Veteran.com, there are nearly two million dependent children with a parent serving in the U.S. military and roughly two million military children have experienced parental deployment since 9/11.

Also, as many as 700,000 children under the age of five have a parent in the military. There are myriad resources for these resilient kids.

In honor of Month of the Military Child, PsychArmor has a featured course, 15 Things Military and Veterans’ Kids Want You to Know. This short, on-demand video brings the voices of military-connected youth to life and allows us to take important steps toward cultural humility when interacting with these children.
