New Veterans ID Card Now Available

On November 29, the US Department of Veterans Affairs announced the availability of new Veterans ID cards (VIC).  Veterans with an honorable discharge as well as Veterans who have served the minimum obligated time in service but did not meet the retirement or medical discharge threshold are eligible. Since the VIC provides proof of military service, Veterans can use the card to obtain promotional discounts and other services for Veterans without showing the DD-214 form to merchants.
