Many survivors of loved ones who pass while serving the country don’t know where to begin to get VA assistance. That’s why VA has prepared a Survivors and Burial Benefits Kit that gives a description of each burial benefit, instructions on how to apply and where to go to get help.

The kit covers:

  • Medallions
  • Presidential Memorial Certificates (PMC)
  • Burial benefits and burial automatic payments

  • Special monthly pension benefits
  • The Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMP-VA)

  • Veterans Month of Death benefits
