New Homes Available for Eligible Veterans In NC

Operation Homefront’s Transitional Homes for Community Reintegration (THCR) program has new homes open for applications. The program is designed to give honorably discharged Veterans and their families an opportunity to live rent free in single-family homes for 2-3 years while working on financial, educational, and/or career goals. Honorably discharged Veterans who are within 1-year of discharge can apply. You do not have to be injured or have a combat deployment to apply. The available homes are in the Raleigh-Fuquay-Varina area of North Carolina and in the Houston-Katy part of Texas.
