VA Rolls Out Additional Enhancements to Decision Ready Claims Program

The new enhancements to the Decision Ready Claims (DRC) Program will increase the pool of Veterans, surviving spouses, and transitioning service members who are eligible. Through this program, Veterans are now able to file claims for increase, direct service connection, presumptive service connection, and secondary service connection. Spouses are able to file certain claims for dependency and indemnity compensation.  Transitioning service members are able to file pre-discharge claims. Decisions are expected within 30 days from the time the VA receives the claim.
