Release of Babies on the Homefront

Endorsed by the VA, the nonprofit Zero to Three has developed a free mobile app to assist military parents of young children.  Available in both English and Spanish in the iTunes and Google Play stores, the app includes the following features:

• a secure, private messaging system
• a shared private media gallery where you can upload and share photos and videos to create a visual story of the important transitions in your family’s life
• a space to send emojis, including kisses, hugs and high-fives to your little ones
• a “return date” countdown
• an extensive library of tips and strategies that includes information on fun activities, self-care, and child development

In addition, Zero to Three has developed a partner toolkit to assist providers in sharing the app with military parents in their network.  It includes a sample blog post, e-newsletter copy, and social media content.
