Governor Cooper has launched the annual school supply drive to help public school teachers, who often spend $500 or more out of pocket for expenses for their students.  We are asking for donations–all types of paper; pens, pencils, and dry erase markers; spiral notebooks; and tissues and sanitizing wipes.  If you are attending the GWG meeting on Thursday, please bring your donation, and Wes Kyatt, NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, has volunteered to take the donated supplies to one of the collection centers.  Otherwise you can drop your donation off at state government buildings and state employee credit unions across the State.
